The Pupil Skills results are out, and we are delighted to announce that everyone from Kingston passed - with ten girls receiving Honours.
A special congratulations to Steph S, who undertook Grade 4 this year.

Congratulations to Holly and Alicia on their selection for the Victorian Juniors Team; to Monique, Saphyre and Ashleigh on their selection for the Victorian Sub-Juniors Team; and to Megan on her selection for the Victorian Seniors Team.
We are very proud of you all, and are sure that you will have a wonderful experience.

The Kingston Masters have invited all members of Kingston to help them celebrate their inaugural year with an end of year celebration at the Woodlands Gold Club, from 2pm to 6pm.Tickets are $40 for an Adult and $20 for a Child.

The Kingston Calisthencs College annual concert will be held at Frankston Arts Centre, on Sunday 6th November, at 10:00am.

Tickets are $20 for adults, and $15 for children, students, pensioners & seniors. Members can purchase tickets through the College. All other ticket enquiries should be directed to Kelly Morris on 9877 2796 (AH).

25-Oct-2011Seniors invited to perform in RSSS Showcase
At the conclusion of the RSSS Eisteddfod, selected items from all disciplines are invited by RSSS to perform in their Showcase. Our Senior section have now been officially advised that their Revue item will be part of this event. Only 20 or so participants are asked to return to South Street for the showcase, so this is a huge honour for the Seniors, and for Kingston.
Congratulations to the Seniors and their coaches, and we hope you have a wonderful time back in Ballarat.

17-Oct-2011Seniors triumph at Ballarat
Congratulations to the Kingston Seniors on their amazing results at the RSSS Eisteddfod. With their best performance to date (a massive 6 first placings and 1 second place) the Seniors rounded off the year with the aggregate at Ballarat.
Of course their coaches must also be congratulated on this wonderful achievement. Many thanks must also go to all the families who have contibuted their support throughout the year.

15-Oct-2011Intermediates win Westside
Congratulations to the Inters on winning the Westside competition. A steady improvement at every competition has culminated in an aggregate at Westside, even though the Revue item was performance only.
Congratulations to Karen and her assistants, as well as all the girls for their hard work and persistence. And many thanks to our supporters too!

11-Oct-2011Subbies win Reserve Aggregate at RSSS
In their first year in Division 2, the Kingston Sub-Juniors have won the reserve aggreate at Ballarat.
This is an amazing acheivement and the girls, coach, assistants and parents should be congratulated.

Over the past few weeks we have searched in vain for our Kingston banner, which still hasn't been located. We were resigned to going to Ballarat without our banner, when Nicole McAleese offered to make a new one - in a single day!
Many thanks to Nicole, her husband and her mother and father, all of whom contributed to the completion of the new banner. It looks wonderful, and we are very grateful for your amazing efforts.

9-Oct-2011Juniors win Ballarat!
The Juniors have won their Royal South Street Eisteddfod, with amazing performances from both teams. The parents tell us that the girls were "amazing", "just beautiful" and "sensational".
The clubs in the Division 4 Juniors have been very closely matched all year, and the Ballarat competition was another nail biter. But a first place in the final item saw them take home the aggregate.
Congratulations to the Juniors on their brilliant performances; their coach and assistants for all their hard work. And of course thanks to all their wonderful parents for their ongoing support.

The Seniors are in firne form with another aggregate win at the Westside competition. Both teams gave strong performances, which puts them in an excellent position for their RSSS Ballarat competition in a couple of weeks.

A great performance by the Kingston Sub-Juniors saw them win the Aggregate at the Waverley competition. Congratulations to the girls and their coach and assistants. And of course, many thanks to their families and supporters.

The Juniors have continued their current good form, earning Runners Up at the Bayside competition. Good Luck to all the girls and their coaches for their next competition at Ballarat.

17-Sep-2011Juniors are Runners Up at the State Titles
Congratulations to the Kingston Juniors girls and coaches, who emerged as Runners Up this weekend at the 2011 State Titles. Thanks go to all of the assistants, the team manager, costume manager, our families and supporters for helping the girls to this great result.

6-Sep-2011Seniors are State Champions
In a competition where the lead changed many times, the Seniors have won the aggregate at the 2011 State Championships for Division Six, with a total of 3 first placings.
While the competition went down to the wire, the Kingston Seniors won their Review item, giving them enough points to take out the aggregate.
Congratulations to the Seniors and their coaches!

Congratulations to Michelle Turner, our intermediates assistant coach, and her husband Luke, on the safe arrival of Spencer Steele Turner. Spencer weighed 3kg and will be coming home soon.

The Sub-Juniors have continued on from the success of their first competition with a win at Mt. District.
As this is their first year in Division 2, the success of the Sub-Juniors is extraordinary. Coingratulations to the girls on all their hard work and dedication.

Well done to the Juniors for their great results at the Mt. District competition - a steady improvement in all items has resulted in Runners Up at the Mt. District competition.Congratulations to Jo and her coaching team, as well as all the Juniors and their families.

Congratulations to the Seniors on their excellent results at Mt District, which saw them take out an equal aggregate in a very closely contested competition.
Congratulations to the girls and their coaches, whose hard work and dedication is being rewarded.

The Sub-Juniors have won the aggregate at their first competition of the year with a great results. They received a place in every item, including four firsts.
A special mention must go to the four Tinies who are helping out the Sub-Juniors this year. They should be very proud of their HC placing in clubs!

The Seniors have started off the 2011 competition season with great results at the Longbeach competition, with an overall result of Reserve Aggregate.

Congratulations to Tracey from everyone at Kingston on the fabulous results of the Vivtorian Sub-Juniors.

1-Jul-2011Good Luck Victorian Sub-Juniors
Kingston Calisthenics College would like to wish Madeline, Ashleigh and Elisabeth the best of luck as they compete with the Victorian Sub-Juniors at the National Championships on the Gold Coast next week. They are the first girls from Kingston to ever represent Victoria, and we are very proud of them.

And of course, best wishes to their amazing coach, Tracey Ferris, who is also our first coach to represent Victoria.

We hope you all have a wonderful time and can't wait to hear all about it when you get back.

5-Mar-2011Kingston Calisthenics College has a new home!
Due to the continued growth of Kingston Calisthenics College, we have been searching for a larger venue for some time. We are excited to announce that we now have a new home!

As at the 12th March, all Kingston classes will move to:
St. Louis de Montfort Primary School
Dolphin Street, Aspendale.

It's just around the corner from our current venue, and offers a larger practice area, a carpeted foyer, access to the kitchen and toilet facilities and heating and cooling.

Late last year, our Sub-Juniors and soloists participated in a photo shoot for the new CVI website. The new website was launched last week, and includes four photos of the 2010 Kingston Sub-Juniors.

Congratulations to our three new coaches - Nicole C, Jess D and Hayley P. All three girls completed their cadetship this year are now fully qualified calisthenics coaches!

7-Nov-2010CVI Coach of the Year
Calisthenics Victoria announced today that the CVI Coach of the Year has been awarded to Kingston's own Tracey Ferris. This prestigious award recognises the outstanding achievements of a calisthenics coach, and is testament to Tracey's dedication and the great results that she and her section have achieved over the past few years.

The committee and coaches offer their congratulations to Tracey on this great achievement.

The Tinies have again achieved great results, at the Westerport competition - their final competition of the year - with both teams placing in every item. Congratulations to our gorgeous Tinies on a wonderful year of competition.

9-Oct-2010Sub-Juniors cap off their best year ever at Ballarat
The Sub-Juniors section has completed their best ever year of competition by coming first in all items at the Royal South Street Competitions at Ballarat, 2010. While they had experienced a highly successfuly year to date, coach Tracey Ferris did not expect the girls to make a clean sweep of the comptetition at Ballarat, and was both surprised and extremely pleased at the final points tally. Please join us in congratulating the Sub-Juniors, their coach Tracey, and their wonderful supporters, on an amazing final competition for the year.

11-Sep-2010Tinies Excel at State Championships
The Tinies have earned their best results this season at the CVI State Championships (Division 2) - with excellent overall results. Their coaches, assistants and families are delighted with their result and are looking forward to the remainder of the competition season.

Congratulations to the Intermediates, their coach and assistants on their success at the C.V.I State Championships (Division 5). The Inters placed in every item at this closely contested competition, and their consistent performances earned them the aggregate. Many thanks to their families for their wonderful support.

With a first place in every item the Sub-Juniors have won the aggregate at the Bayside competition. This continues their amazing success at competitions this year and we congratulate their coach and assistants, the Sub-Juniors and their families.

The Sub-Juniors have won the aggregate at the State Titles (Division 3) with another convincing performance and excellent results. Their coach, families and supporters are delighted at their success, as are the Sub-Juniors themselves. Congratuations!

The Juniors Mt. District competition was again closely contested, with the overall result not decided until the last item. Congratulations to the Junior girls on their excellent results in a very strong competition.

The Sub-Juniors have won the aggregate at the Longbeach competition - with a First place in every item, as well as two HC and a Special Mention.

The solo competition season begins this weekend, and we would like to wish all our solo competitors - Stacie, Stephanie, Lucy, Anne-Marie, Breanna, Alicia, Holly, Elisabeth and Georgia - the best of luck for their first competition.

Congratulations to Lynda Tomkins and her fiancé Marcus, on the safe arrival of their daughter. Ashlee Kaye was born on the 8th of February, weighing 3.7kg (8 pounds, 1 ounce). Mum and baby are both doing well.

23-Jan-2010Open Day
Kingston Calisthenics College is holding an Open Day on Saturday 23rd of January, from 9:30 to 11:30 at Aspendale Primary School, Laura Street, Aspendale.
Free classes will be held during the day, at 9:30 for Tinies (age 7 and under) and 10:30 for Sub-Juniors (age 9 and under). Current members are also welcome to attend.
Information and activities for all age groups will be available at Open Day.

19-Oct-2009Seniors are Runners Up at Ballarat!
Fantastic performances from both teams of Seniors saw Kingston awarded Runners Up at Ballarat. Their coach Trish described their performances as their best of the year and is extremely proud of all her girls.
Congratulations to Trish, her assistants Karin and Jayne, the Kingston Seniors themselves and all our supporters.

9-Oct-2009Subbies Win Ballarat
The Kingston Sub-Juniors have won the most prestigious calisthenics competition, having been awarded the Aggregate at the Royal South Street Eisteddfod - Ballarat.
With consistant performaces across all items, including a convincing win in the rods section, Kingston finished the day with 22 points.
This fantastic result follow a great year for the Sub-Juniors and their coach Tracey. Congratuations to Tracey and her assistants, the parents and supporters of the Kingston Sub-Juniors, and most of all, congratuations to the Subbies themselves.

2-Oct-2009An Aggregate for the Seniors
The seniors have taken their first aggregate for this competition season at the Westside competition, with consistent results across all items. Congratulations to all the seniors, whose hard work and perserverance have been rewarded.

Congratulations to the Tinies, winners of the State Titles in their division. This exciting result is the culmination of a very successful competition season for the Tinies, and their coach Tracey, as this is their fourth win from four competitions.

The Juniors have followed on from the Sub-Juniors success at Bayside with an Aggregate of their own. It was an extremely successful competition, with both teams placing in every item.
This is a fabulous result for their coaches Karen, Jess and Stacie.

The Sub-Juniors have gone from strength to strength with a win at the Bayside competition, placing first in four of their six items.
2009 is shaping up to be a great year for the Sub-Juniors and their coach Tracey.

15-Dec-2008Levels - Excellent Results for Kingston
At the end of the calisthenics year, 27 Kingston girls undertook exams for various levels. The results were published today, and all Kingston girls passed! And four of the girls achieved honours.
Congratulations to all of the girls who participated in levels - all that hard work obviously paid off!

12-Dec-2008Promotions for Kingston
Three of Kingston's five sections have been promoted to higher grades for the 2009 competitions.
The Tinies have been promoted from Division 4 to Division 3, the Juniors have been promoted from Division 6 to Division 5 and the Seniors have been promoted from Division 8 to Division 7. The Seniors are now eligible to compete at Ballarat.

An Open Day will be held at the Aspendale School Hall on Saturday the 8th of November, from 10:00am to 12:30pm. Complementary classes will be held for Tinies at 10am and for Subbies at 11am.
Information and activities for all ages will be available on the day.

Kingston Calisthenics College is holding an Open Day for their Juniors section (age 9 to 11) on Wednesday 22nd October from 4:30pm to 7:00pm at the Aspendale Primary School Hall.
A complementary class is offered to anyone who is interested in participating in this fun dance sport.

The Tinies have finished their competition season on a high - with their best results yet to take the Aggregate at Westernport. The Tinies have again won every item, and every team placed.

The Seniors have continued their recent success with another win for their last competition of the year. Trish was moved to tears as she accepted the Aggregate for the Westernport competition, as she is extremely proud of how well the Seniors have done during this compeition season.

Congruatulations to the Sub-Juniors, their coach Tracey, their assistants and to their families on their fabulous results at Ballarat. After a very long day of competition the Sub-Juniors have been awarded Runners Up at the Royal South Street Eisteddfod Ballarat. The Sub-Juniors received a place or mention in every item with a 1st, three 2nds and 2 HMs. What a fantastic conclusion to their 2008 competition season.

The Juniors have finished their 2008 competition season with Runners Up at the Royal South Street Eisteddfod Ballarat. At their largest competition of the season, the Juniors performed brilliantly and received a place or mention in every item. It was especially exciting to have both teams recognised in clubs - against a field of 14 teams - with a 3rd and an HC.
Karen thanked her assistants, team manager, costume manager, props coordinator and the parents who volunteer so much of their time to help make the Kingston Juniors run smoothly.
As always, congratulations to Karen and the Junior girls on all their hard work that has lead to such a wonderful result.
