| 25-Oct-2011 | Seniors invited to perform in RSSS Showcase At the conclusion of the RSSS Eisteddfod, selected items from all disciplines are invited by RSSS to perform in their Showcase. Our Senior section have now been officially advised that their Revue item will be part of this event. Only 20 or so participants are asked to return to South Street for the showcase, so this is a huge honour for the Seniors, and for Kingston. Congratulations to the Seniors and their coaches, and we hope you have a wonderful time back in Ballarat.

With their best performance to date (a massive 6 first placings and 1 second place) the Seniors rounded off the year with the aggregate at Ballarat. Of course their coaches must also be congratulated on this wonderful achievement. Many thanks must also go to all the families who have contibuted their support throughout the year.

We were resigned to going to Ballarat without our banner, when Nicole McAleese offered to make a new one - in a single day!Many thanks to Nicole, her husband and her mother and father, all of whom contributed to the completion of the new banner. It looks wonderful, and we are very grateful for your amazing efforts.

| 9-Oct-2011 | Juniors win Ballarat! The Juniors have won their Royal South Street Eisteddfod, with amazing performances from both teams. The parents tell us that the girls were "amazing", "just beautiful" and "sensational". The clubs in the Division 4 Juniors have been very closely matched all year, and the Ballarat competition was another nail biter. But a first place in the final item saw them take home the aggregate. Congratulations to the Juniors on their brilliant performances; their coach and assistants for all their hard work. And of course thanks to all their wonderful parents for their ongoing support. Go Kingston!

| 6-Sep-2011 | Seniors are State Champions In a competition where the lead changed many times, the Seniors have won the aggregate at the 2011 State Championships for Division Six, with a total of 3 first placings. While the competition went down to the wire, the Kingston Seniors won their Review item, giving them enough points to take out the aggregate.

| 5-Mar-2011 | Kingston Calisthenics College has a new home! Due to the continued growth of Kingston Calisthenics College, we have been searching for a larger venue for some time. We are excited to announce that we now have a new home!
As at the 12th March, all Kingston classes will move to:
St. Louis de Montfort Primary School
Dolphin Street, Aspendale.
It's just around the corner from our current venue, and offers a larger practice area, a carpeted foyer, access to the kitchen and toilet facilities and heating and cooling.
See you all there next week!

| 15-Dec-2008 | Levels - Excellent Results for Kingston At the end of the calisthenics year, 27 Kingston girls undertook exams for various levels. The results were published today, and all Kingston girls passed! And four of the girls achieved honours. Congratulations to all of the girls who participated in levels - all that hard work obviously paid off!

| 12-Dec-2008 | Promotions for Kingston Three of Kingston's five sections have been promoted to higher grades for the 2009 competitions.
The Tinies have been promoted from Division 4 to Division 3, the Juniors have been promoted from Division 6 to Division 5 and the Seniors have been promoted from Division 8 to Division 7. The Seniors are now eligible to compete at Ballarat.

At their largest competition of the season, the Juniors performed brilliantly and received a place or mention in every item. It was especially exciting to have both teams recognised in clubs - against a field of 14 teams - with a 3rd and an HC.Karen thanked her assistants, team manager, costume manager, props coordinator and the parents who volunteer so much of their time to help make the Kingston Juniors run smoothly. As always, congratulations to Karen and the Junior girls on all their hard work that has lead to such a wonderful result.
