Hayley P

Hayley's first experience with calisthenics at the age of three wasn't very successful, so she didn't return to the sport until she was four years old. She then went on to compete with Noble Park Calisthenics Club in their Tinies and Sub-Juniors sections, until joining Kingston Calisthenics College as a Junior.

Hayley has been with Kingston since the college opened in 2000, and is now an experienced member of the Seniors team. This is her seventh year as an assistant coach, and she assists Tracey Ferris with the Sub Juniors section.

Hayley and entered into her cadetship at the beginning of 2009, and has choreographed an aesthetics item. Hayley has completed Pupil Skills (Levels) Test 2, Test 3, Grade 1, Grade 2 and Prep 3 and will undertake Grade 3 shortly. Hayley hopes to one day be a fully qualified calisthenics coach and would love to coach a Sub-Juniors section. She especially enjoys teaching march, although clubs is her favourite item to perform.

Hayley has a number of great memories associated with Kingston, both as a competitor and also as an assistant. Winning the aggregate at Ballarat as an Intermediate is her best memory of calisthenics, followed closely by the Sub-Juniors 2005 win at Ballarat, where she was assisting.

Having completed her Certificate 3 in Childcare in 2008, Hayley now works full time caring for babies in a child care centre.
