Kingston Calisthenics College was founded in 2000. In their first year, Kingston consisted of three sections – Tinies, Sub Juniors and Juniors. After two years the club grew to include an Intermediates section, in 2007 a Seniors section was added, and from 2011 we began offering Masters.
The college was originally based at the McIndoe hall at St Andrews church in Mordialloc. After five years, it was obvious that the club had outgrown these premises and a larger hall was sought. The college moved to Aspendale Primary School, but after six years we had outgrown that venue as well. The college is stil based in Aspendale, with practice classes for all sections held at the St Louis de Montford Primary School.
All sections of Kingston Calisthenics College participate in local competitions, including the State Titles and the Royal South Street Ballarat Eisteddfod (except Tinies and Masters). Kingston Calisthenics College has been extremely successful at competitions, and have progressed to their current gradings.
